Buying at auction can be a great way to find a bargain, but collection is not always easy. The vehicle may not be roadworthy, you may not have a driver free, or the auction site may be a long way from where you live. That is where we come in.
We collect your vehicle from the auction site and bring it straight to you, whether that is your home, your workshop or your dealership. You do not have to arrange the journey yourself or worry about the vehicle sitting at the auction site.
Copart Collections
Copart is one of the largest vehicle auction and remarketing companies in the UK. Collecting a vehicle from a Copart site follows a set process, and there is one rule that matters most for buyers: vehicles cannot be driven out of a Copart operation centre. They must be loaded onto another vehicle or towed using professional equipment.
That is where our recovery truck comes in. We can collect non-runners, damaged vehicles and any car you do not want to drive home, and we take care of the loading so you do not have to deal with it.
Before You Arrive
Copart collections are booked through its Transportation App. Your payment must be cleared before collection, so check your account first.
On Arrival
Copart asks you to mark your arrival in the app, follow the gate marshal to parking and wear high-visibility clothing. A loader then brings your vehicle to you.
Check Before You Leave
Check the vehicle at collection and report any damage or mismatch there and then, as Copart cannot deal with issues raised after the vehicle has left site.
BCA Collections
BCA (British Car Auctions) is one of Europe’s largest vehicle remarketing companies, with sites across the UK and a wide range of cars, vans and commercial vehicles sold through its auctions. Once you have bought a vehicle, the collection arrangements depend on the site and the terms of your purchase.
Before you book a collection, check your invoice or terms for the collection deadline and any documents the site needs. If you are not able to collect in person, or the vehicle cannot be driven, we can collect it from the BCA site and bring it to you.
